Only last month did the Parisian authorities begin to remove the ‘love locks’ from the bridges that span the Seine. The went further, and made it illegal to place any more locks upon the bridges. I found this love lock last week, on a bridge spanning the river bed that is now the Jardines de Turia, in Valencia, Spain. There was only a dozen or so on the entire bridge, but it shows that we will transcend any world government efforts to make declarations of love illegal.
