This weekend I finally got out into the streets of London with my camera strapped to my wrist (and not left behind on my shelf, collecting dust). Apart from a missed opportunity to snap the lens-friendly BBQ & Lobstershack on Kings Road (a procession of red buses continued to block my view until I shamefully gave up), my eye seemed drawn to people this Saturday – and they all seemed to be smoking (in black and white). Interestingly (or not), you decide), they are all shot from my hip, blind – I had about 20 goes at the girl!

I’m lucky (or sensible) in that I have never been a smoker, but I have many friend and members of my family who keep coming back.
